Wine Box Vignette

Instructor: Jill Castoral

Appropriate skill level: All skill levels welcome

Maximum number of students: 10

Class fee:  $195 (IGMA members), $205 (Nonmembers)

The wood wine bottle gift box displays a charming 1” scale vignette with a view of the vineyard.  You will create the Tuscan stucco wall with window grate, beams, and vineyard view.  The wine rack features a Bacchus medallion, wine bottle rack with 6 wine bottles, and a faux stained glass window.  The grape themed arched window can be lit from behind to give a soft glow to the scene (light not included but available from Evans Designs).  The wine crate kit and wine cask kits are included in the workshop for a take home project.

You will learn a new way to create a stucco wall, distressing, and wet on wet stain application as well as using water based gel stains for great effects and dimension.

The closed gift box measures approximately 4 ½” W x 3 7/8” D x 14 1/8” H

When fully open 9 ½” wide.

Cat, mice, and wine glasses are not included.
