Learn painting and aging techniques on an artisan crafted sea chest by Pam & Pete Boorum. Christine will guide students while they create their own folk art design and color combinations. The chest is in 1/12th scale, 4” x 2” x 1.5”  Historic examples will be provided via email in advance to help students choose a design or they may design their own. Once selected or designed, scaled templates will be provided at class. Design transfer, color mixing, glazing, waxing and simple hand painted lettering will be covered. Class fee includes the chest, all supplies and a set of miniature brushes for the student to take home.
