Lady in the Shoe Instructor: Joanne Roberts

1" scale. Students will learn to pleat fabric, do the shell stitch and wig a doll. Students will dress the lady that sits in the shoe. They will be able to choose their own black antique lace for her skirt so that their doll will become a one of a kind treasure. Hankies will be a choice also. The doll will be partially wigged with the students adding the chignon. The shoe and the parasol will be completed by the teacher prior to class. Jewelry will be provided.
Students to bring: Small sharp scissors, pointed tweezers, straight pins, quilting needles, clips, Aleene's Regular Tacky Glue with a small glue bottle with metal tip or syringe and an old toothbrush.
