Woodworking - Wainscoting using Hand Tools
Thursday 9:00am –5:00pm
Description of Class Including Techniques Taught, Dimensions and Scale: In this class students will use miter boxes and Exacto knives and learn techniques to make wainscoting from scratch using sheet wood and trims for use in a dollhouse room box. Each student will have supplies to make a 3 inch high 36 inch long piece of wainscoting which can later be applied to any room box or other display they desire. Techniques taught will allow students to individualize some dimensions for personal preference. There will not be time for painting/ staining, but techniques will be discussed.
