Painted Peter Hunt Inspired Stepback Cupboard

Designed especially for this class by Pam Boorum and Christine Hannon, IGMA Artisans, students will create a Peter Hunt inspired stepback cupboard with colors and motifs of their choosing. Peter Hunt was a Cape Cod decorative artist in the 1950's and 60's, and his whimiscal work was enjoyed throughout the New England and Long Island. Prior to class, students will select colors and motifs so that templates can be created. For those who prefer, decoupage motif prints will be available. Students will learn painting, decorative brushwork, antiqued waxing & complete minor assembly (feet and knobs.) All materials will be provided and students will receive several mini paintbrushes to keep. Cupboard size 4.5"h x 1.5"w x 1
