DESCRIPTION:
Led by Anna, an experienced miniature artist, teacher and IGMA Artisan, this engaging online class will help participants create a realistic, colorful miniature succulent composition from air dry clay. The lessons combine clear technical instruction with a creative approach to composition, so that at the end of the class, each student will have a display-ready miniature that looks like a 'living' composition.
Anna demonstrates the entire process step by step in real time via Zoom - from preparing and mixing colors to texturing, planting and finishing - and offers individual advice on troubleshooting and composing during the live sessions. Recordings are provided after the class so that students can practice at their own pace.
An original 3D greenhouse will be used as the base for the arrangement. It will feature several sculptural succulents and finishing touches (accents made from natural materials.) Air dry clay and original molds will be used to create the succulents. Sculpting tools will be used to add shape and texture. Watercolor tinting techniques are also included.
Finished size approximately 22 x 46 mm - perfect for 1:12 scale dollhouses.
Live online class via Zoom, step by step instructions + Q&A. Recordings provided.
